Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • dia25x6mm (mounted, excitation filter)
  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

This filter set is designed to match fluorophores with excitation/emission peaks near 495 nm and 520 nm. This combination is standard for imaging in the Green-fluorescence spectral region.

Filter Specifications:   

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 480/40 nm (transmits light from 460 nm to 500 nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 535/50 nm (transmits light from 510 nm to 560 nm)
  • Dichroic: R@400-500nm/T@520-700nm

Intended for use with common green fluorophores including:

  • FITC (ex~495, em~508)
  • eGFP / GFP 
  • Alexa Fluor 488 / DyLight488 / iFluor488 / Opal520 (ex~495, em519)
