Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • dia25x6mm (mounted, excitation filter)
  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

This filter set is designed for fluorophores that absorb yellow-orange light and emit in the deep orange to red spectral region. This configuration is widely used for Cy3-class dyes and is specifically suited for the Alexa Fluor 568 fluorophore, providing tight spectral bands for excellent signal-to-noise ratio.

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 570/25 nm (transmits light from 557.5 nm to 582.5 nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 615/40 nm (transmits light from 595 nm to 635 nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 500-580 nm / Transmits 600-700 nm

Intended for use with:

  • Alexa Fluor 568 (peak excitation/emission is around 578/603 nm)
  • Texas Red
  • Cy3.5
