Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • dia25x6mm (mounted, excitation filter)
  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

This specialized filter set is designed for fluorophores that are excited by violet to blue light and emit light in the green-yellow spectral region (around 535 nm). The configuration uses a broad excitation band to capture light efficiently from sources like the 405 nm and 445 nm laser lines, combined with a clean green-yellow emission band. This makes it ideal for imaging highly sensitive probes and dyes frequently used for tracer studies and neuronal tracing, where excitation in the violet-blue range is required.

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 420/40 nm (transmits light from 400 nm to 440 nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 535/40 nm (transmits light from 515 nm to 555 nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 390-445 nm / Transmits 460-600 nm

Intended for use with common violet/blue-excited, yellow-emitting fluorophores such as:

  • Highly sensitive probes and dyes (e.g., probes with Ex approx 428 nm, Em approx 535 nm)
  • Yellow-Green Fluorescent Proteins (YGFPs) and similar variants requiring short-wavelength excitation
  • Spectrally similar fluorescent tracers and probes
