This highly specific filter set is optimized for fluorophores that are excited by red light (e.g., the 633 nm or 635 nm laser lines) and emit light sharply in the deep red spectral region (around 682 nm). The configuration uses narrow bandpass filters for both excitation and emission, providing exceptional spectral isolation and maximizing light collection in the 667 nm to 697 nm range. This design is highly effective for multi-color experiments and applications requiring minimal background autofluorescence, utilizing popular far-red fluorescent dyes and probes.

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 635/30 nm (T@620-650nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 682/30 nm (T@667-697nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 590-650 nm / Transmits 665-735 nm

Intended for use with common red-excited, deep-red-emitting fluorophores such as:

  • Cy5
