Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • dia25x6mm (mounted, excitation filter)
  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

Description

This filter set is designed for fluorophores that absorb **red** light and emit in the **near-infrared (NIR)** spectral region. This configuration is optimized for deep-red dyes like Alexa Fluor 680, offering excellent spectral separation from shorter wavelengths, which is critical for multiplexing.

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 650/45 nm (transmits light from 627.5 nm to 672.5 nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 720/60 nm (transmits light from 690 nm to 750 nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 600-660 nm / Transmits 690-800 nm

Intended for use with:

  • Alexa Fluor 680 (peak excitation/emission is around 679/702 nm)
  • Cy5.5
