1. Eligible Products

Stocked (catalog) products with a unit price under USD 500 are eligible for return within 14 days after delivery.

Custom-made or non-stock items are not eligible for no-reason returns.

2. No-Reason Return (Buyer’s Remorse)

If you wish to return an item for reasons other than product defect or seller error:

  • Please email shop@syronoptics.com to request a return authorization and return address.
  • Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and with original packaging.
  • Refund will be issued after inspection of the returned item.

3. Seller’s Fault (Defective / Wrong / Damaged Item)

If the return is due to seller error (defective product, wrong item shipped, or damage during shipping):

Please provide clear evidence (photos or videos) showing the issue.

We will evaluate the case and either:

  • Provide a replacement, or
    Issue a refund (with or without requiring the item to be returned).
  • Return shipping cost will be covered by the seller in confirmed seller-fault cases.

    Mercury Line Isolation (g-line)

    • The mercury arc spectrum has a very strong emission line at 436nm (the g-line).
    • Since the filter bandwidth extends to ~447.5nm, it will effectively capture and isolate this high-energy peak while blocking other mercury lines (like the 405nm h-line or 546nm e-line). This is common in photolithography and fluorescence microscopy.

    Recommended Light Sources

    • High-Pressure Mercury (Hg) Arc Lamp: It natively emits the intense 436nm "g-line" spectral peak, providing the exact high-energy output that the BP430-35 filter is designed to isolate while effectively stripping away the unwanted 405nm and 546nm lines.
    • Mercury-Xenon (Hg-Xe) Lamp: It retains the strong 436nm mercury emission required for the application but offers superior arc stability and higher overall radiance compared to standard mercury lamps, which is critical for consistent exposure in photolithography.

    • This filter serves as an excellent excitation filter for fluorophores that absorb in the violet-blue range.
    • Chlorophyll Absorption: Chlorophyll a and b have strong absorption peaks near 430nm (the Soret band). This filter can be used in agronomy or plant stress analysis to stimulate chlorophyll fluorescence.
    • Specific Dyes: It is suitable for exciting dyes like Auramine O, Lucifer Yellow, or Tetracycline.

    Recommended Light Sources

    • High-Power LED (430nm or 435nm peak): Precision & Sample Safety
      This is the modern standard for this application. The LED's output peak (430–435nm) aligns perfectly with the excitation maxima of Auramine O (432nm) and Lucifer Yellow (428nm). It produces minimal heat compared to arc lamps, which is critical for agronomy to prevent thermal stress or damage to live plant samples during chlorophyll analysis.
    • Mercury Arc Lamp: Signal Intensity
      The BP430-35 filter is specifically designed to capture the 436nm mercury g-line, which sits comfortably within the filter's bandwidth (412nm–448nm). This source provides extremely high irradiance at this specific wavelength, making it ideal for detecting low concentrations of dyes like Tetracycline or visualizing weak fluorescence signals that require maximum excitation energy.
