1. Eligible Products
Stocked (catalog) products with a unit price under USD 500 are eligible for return within 14 days after delivery.
Custom-made or non-stock items are not eligible for no-reason returns.
2. No-Reason Return (Buyer’s Remorse)
If you wish to return an item for reasons other than product defect or seller error:
- Please email shop@syronoptics.com to request a return authorization and return address.
- Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and with original packaging.
- Refund will be issued after inspection of the returned item.
3. Seller’s Fault (Defective / Wrong / Damaged Item)
If the return is due to seller error (defective product, wrong item shipped, or damage during shipping):
Please provide clear evidence (photos or videos) showing the issue.
We will evaluate the case and either:
- Provide a replacement, or
Issue a refund (with or without requiring the item to be returned). - Return shipping cost will be covered by the seller in confirmed seller-fault cases.
4. Important Notes
- Returned items are subject to inspection before refund approval.
- Shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable unless the return is due to seller fault.
- Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

- The OD4 blocking at 1580 nm is the critical spec here. It is sufficient to block powerful signals from standard 1550 nm lasers (common in telecom and LiDAR) while allowing detection of Stokes-shifted Raman scattering or fluorescence signals that appear at wavelengths longer than 1620 nm.

- 1550 nm Excitation Laser: To utilize an LP1600 filter effectively in this context, you should use a 1550 nm Narrow-Linewidth Laser.

- Silicon becomes transparent at wavelengths longer than ~1100 nm. While an LP1100 is standard for this, an LP1600 might be used for specialized defect detection or to eliminate "shorter" SWIR noise (1100–1500 nm) from specific sub-surface features in wafers or ingots.
