반품 및 환불

1. Eligible Products

Stocked (catalog) products with a unit price under USD 500 are eligible for return within 14 days after delivery.

Custom-made or non-stock items are not eligible for no-reason returns.

2. No-Reason Return (Buyer’s Remorse)

If you wish to return an item for reasons other than product defect or seller error:

  • Please email shop@syronoptics.com to request a return authorization and return address.
  • Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and with original packaging.
  • Refund will be issued after inspection of the returned item.

3. Seller’s Fault (Defective / Wrong / Damaged Item)

If the return is due to seller error (defective product, wrong item shipped, or damage during shipping):

Please provide clear evidence (photos or videos) showing the issue.

We will evaluate the case and either:

  • Provide a replacement, or
    Issue a refund (with or without requiring the item to be returned).
  • Return shipping cost will be covered by the seller in confirmed seller-fault cases.

    Standard Silicon sensors lose sensitivity rapidly after 1000nm and become transparent/noisy. However, strong SWIR radiation (heat or ambient IR) can still cause thermal noise or "ghosting" in the image.

    • Application: High-precision inspection in hot environments (e.g., glass or metal manufacturing) where you want to image the product using NIR light but block the longer thermal radiation wavelengths (1200nm+) that might wash out the contrast.

    Recommended Light Sources

    • High-Power 850nm or 940nm LEDs: Maximizes Signal-to-Heat Ratio. These monochromatic sources emit light exactly where the silicon sensor is most sensitive and the filter is most transparent (>90% transmission). Crucially, because they do not emit "waste" energy in the SWIR band, they allow you to overpower the thermal background radiation of the hot object with a strong, active signal, ensuring high-contrast images without adding to the heat noise.
