What's the difference between Dichroic Mirror and Beamsplitters?

Dichroic Mirror split light or beam based on their wavelength (or color).

• example : transmit red light and reflect green light.

While Beamsplitter split the light based on energy.

• example : transmit 35% of the light and reflect 65% of the light
