Dual-Band Bandpass Filter
Dual-band bandpass filters are designed to transmit two distinct, selected wavelength bands simultaneously while reducing unwanted out-of-band light between and outside the designated passbands.
Applications:
- Simultaneous dual-color fluorescence microscopy (such as GFP/mCherry or DAPI/FITC) for multiplexed biological imaging
- Day/night surveillance cameras transmitting visible light alongside specific near-infrared (NIR) bands like 850nm or 940nm
- Dual-laser line cleanup and optical alignment systems (such as 532nm and 1064nm Nd:YAG setups)
- Multispectral machine vision and automated optical inspection (AOI) requiring two distinct illumination channels
- Medical and diagnostic instruments utilizing dual-fluorophore excitation or emission
Bandwidth options:
- Narrow FWHM pairings for tight dual-laser line isolation and maximum out-of-band noise reduction
- Broad visible and narrow NIR pairings for balanced day/night imaging transmission
- Custom FWHM combinations tailored to specific multiplexed sensor or illumination setups
Select the bandwidths and passbands based on the illumination source spectrums, target signals, detector sensitivity, blocking range, and required signal level.
