Green Machine Vision Bandpass Filter

Green machine vision bandpass filters are designed to transmit a selected green wavelength band (typically centered between 520nm and 540nm) while reducing unwanted out-of-band light.

Applications:

  • Green LED illumination cleanup for machine vision and automated optical inspection (AOI) systems
  • Contrast enhancement for inspecting and sorting materials (darkening red or blue features while lightening green features)
  • Detector-side green signal isolation before industrial CMOS/CCD cameras or photodiodes
  • Fluorescence imaging where green emission signals need isolation from excitation light
  • Optical measurement setups where the target signal is in the green visible spectrum

Bandwidth options:

  • 20nm FWHM for tight green LED signal isolation and maximum ambient background rejection
  • 30nm and 40nm FWHM for balanced signal transmission, noise reduction, and accommodating LED wavelength shift over temperature
  • 50nm FWHM for high signal collection or wide-angle camera-side transmission
