Longpass Dichroic Mirror (LDM)
Longpass dichroic mirrors (LDMs) are designed to transmit longer wavelengths of light while reflecting shorter wavelengths at a defined cutoff point. Operating at a 45-degree angle of incidence (AOI), these optical components separate or combine spectral bands within an optical path. They are utilized in fluorescence microscopy, laser beam combining, and multi-wavelength optical instrumentation.
- Transmit longer wavelength
- Reflecting shorter wavelength
- Used at AOI = 45 °
