1. Eligible Products
Stocked (catalog) products with a unit price under USD 500 are eligible for return within 14 days after delivery.
Custom-made or non-stock items are not eligible for no-reason returns.
2. No-Reason Return (Buyer’s Remorse)
If you wish to return an item for reasons other than product defect or seller error:
- Please email shop@syronoptics.com to request a return authorization and return address.
- Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and with original packaging.
- Refund will be issued after inspection of the returned item.
3. Seller’s Fault (Defective / Wrong / Damaged Item)
If the return is due to seller error (defective product, wrong item shipped, or damage during shipping):
Please provide clear evidence (photos or videos) showing the issue.
We will evaluate the case and either:
- Provide a replacement, or
Issue a refund (with or without requiring the item to be returned). - Return shipping cost will be covered by the seller in confirmed seller-fault cases.

Pricing is not significantly lower for small-size orders in low quantities due to operational costs.

Fluorescence Emission Filter
This filter is ideally suited to detect fluorescence emission in the red spectrum while blocking the excitation light.
- Target Fluorophores: It is a perfect match for Qdot 625 (Quantum Dot 625), which has a sharp emission peak at exactly 625 nm.
- Other Compatible Dyes: It can also be used for the "tail" emission or specific variants of:
- Texas Red (Peak ~615–620 nm)
- Alexa Fluor 594 (Peak ~617 nm)
- mCherry (Peak ~610 nm, though this cuts off some signal)
- Propidium Iodide (PI) (Peak ~617 nm)
Recommended Light Sources
Role of Filter: Acts as an Emission filter (detects the signal).
- For Qdot 625: Use a UV (365 nm / 405 nm) or Blue (488 nm) LED/Laser. (Quantum dots have broad excitation spectra).
- For Texas Red / Alexa 594: Use a Green/Yellow LED (560 nm – 590 nm) or a 561 nm Diode Laser.
- Note: Do not use a 625 nm light source for fluorescence, as the filter will block the excitation light (which is good), but you need the light source to be at a shorter wavelength than the filter.

Precision Machine Vision
In industrial settings requiring extreme precision (e.g., inspecting reflective parts or outdoor imaging), this filter allows only 625 nm red light to enter the camera, completely eliminating interference from sunlight, overhead fluorescent lights, or other lasers.
Recommended Light Sources
Role of Filter: Blocks ambient light and passes only the illumination.
- 625 nm Red LED: This is the industry standard "Red" LED wavelength. The filter matches this output perfectly.
- Caution with Lasers: A standard Helium-Neon (HeNe) laser is 632.8 nm. Since this filter has a 20 nm bandwidth (approx. 615–635 nm), a 633 nm laser sits on the very edge of the passband and might be significantly attenuated or blocked. A 625 nm LED or a tunable laser set to 625 nm is safer.

What is the difference between mountings?
Unmounted:
- a bare glass optical filter
Mounted:
- Smooth Mount for protection of the optics. No thread is there on the mount.
Metric Mount:
- Start with M as prefix, usually seens as M25.5x0.5mm. Mostly used as camera filters
Imperial Mount:
- Start with SM as prefix, usually seen SM1, SM05 etc... Mostly used in Optical system. (You will have a SM external thread to connecting to other objects)
C-Mount:
- Very frequently used mounting. C-Mount is 1‘’-32TPI. And it is not the same thing as SM1, or M25.5x0.5mm.
