Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • dia25x6mm (mounted, excitation filter)
  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

This filter set is engineered for fluorophores that excite in the near-UV/Violet region and emit blue light.

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 350/50 nm (T@325-375nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 460/50 nm (T@435-485nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 330-380 nm / Transmits 470-700 nm

Intended for use with common blue-emitting fluorophores including:

  • DAPI (ex~358, em~355)
  • Alexa Fluor 350 / DyLight350 (ex~346, em~442)
  • Hoechst 33342 (ex~346, em~461)
