Blue Machine Vision Bandpass Filter

Blue machine vision bandpass filters are designed to transmit a selected blue wavelength band (typically centered between 450nm and 490nm) while reducing unwanted out-of-band light.

Applications:

• Blue LED illumination cleanup for machine vision and automated optical inspection (AOI) systems
• Contrast enhancement for inspecting and sorting materials (darkening red or green features while lightening blue features)
• Detector-side blue signal isolation before industrial CMOS/CCD cameras or photodiodes
• Fluorescence imaging where blue emission signals need isolation from excitation light
• Optical measurement setups where the target signal is in the blue visible spectrum

Bandwidth options:

• 20nm FWHM for tight blue LED signal isolation and maximum ambient background rejection
• 30nm and 40nm FWHM for balanced signal transmission, noise reduction, and accommodating LED wavelength shift over temperature
• 50nm to 90nm FWHM for broader blue signal collection, high signal transmission, or wide-angle camera-side transmission
