This BP385-50 bandpass filter is designed to transmit a broad ultraviolet (UV-A) band centered at 385 nm while strongly reducing unwanted out-of-band light.
Because 385 nm is a standard and widely used wavelength for high-power UV LEDs, this filter is highly suitable for machine vision, UV curing inspection, fluorescence imaging (such as detecting UV-reactive dyes, conformal coatings, or forensic evidence), and specialized optical sensing systems relying on 385 nm illumination. It helps effectively isolate the target ultraviolet signal, reduce broad background interference across the visible and near-infrared spectrum, and preserve high signal brightness for higher-contrast measurements.
Key specifications:
- Wavelength / main spec: 385 nm center wavelength (CWL)
- Bandwidth / transition spec: 50 nm FWHM
- Transmission / blocking: T > 90%; OD3 blocking from 200–1200 nm
- Format / availability: Available in 12.5 mm to 34 mm diameters and M25.5×0.5 to M55×0.75 threaded mounts
