This BP605-10 bandpass filter is designed to transmit a narrow orange-red band centered at 605 nm while providing exceptionally deep suppression of unwanted out-of-band light.
Because 605 nm is a critical wavelength for many standard orange and red fluorophores (such as Alexa Fluor 568, mCherry, or Texas Red emission), this filter is highly suitable for fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, and biotechnology applications. It is also frequently used in machine vision for high-contrast inspection under 605 nm LED illumination. It helps precisely isolate the target signal, deeply reduce broad background noise from the UV through the near-infrared spectrum, and preserve maximum signal brightness for high-sensitivity measurements.
Key specifications:
- Wavelength / main spec: 605 nm center wavelength (CWL)
- Bandwidth / transition spec: 10 nm FWHM
- Transmission / blocking: T > 95%; OD5 blocking from 200–1120 nm
- Format / availability: Available in 12.5 mm to 34 mm diameters and M25.5×0.5 to M55×0.75 threaded mounts (mounted options)
