Because 632.8 nm is the primary emission wavelength of a standard Helium-Neon (HeNe) laser, this filter is highly suitable for HeNe laser line isolation, interferometry, holography, alignment tasks, and precision optical sensing systems relying on HeNe laser illumination. It helps precisely isolate the target red laser signal, deeply reduce background interference across the visible and near-infrared spectrum, and preserve high signal brightness for high-contrast measurements.
