About 365nm Bandpass Filter

A bandpass filter with this wavelength can be used for near-UV fluorescence imaging, blocking visible light and light from UVC LED excitation sources, allowing early removal of biofilms (for instance, in disinfection applications or biofouling of ship hulls) through tryptophan fluorescence detection.

A typical configuration for 365nm bandpass filter is a hard-coated filter with a FWHM of 10nm to 40nm and an OD of 4 or higher. The substrate material is usually low-expansion Borofloat or UV fused silica.

The typical Max transmission for 365nm bandpass filters is around 85% or higher at the design wavelength, depending on the coating and substrate quality.
