Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • dia25x6mm (mounted, excitation filter)
  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

This filter set is designed for the detection of FAM (Fluorescein Amide) dyes, which absorb blue light and emit green light. This narrow-band configuration is optimized for real-time PCR (qPCR) instruments and imaging systems requiring precise isolation of the FAM signal from other fluorophores or background autofluorescence.

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 470/30 nm (transmits light from 455 nm to 485 nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 525/20 nm (transmits light from 515 nm to 535 nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 400-500 nm / Transmits 515-600 nm
