Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

This highly versatile filter set is optimized for fluorophores that are excited by blue light (e.g., the 488 nm laser line) and emit light in the green spectral region (around 535 nm). The configuration uses a broad excitation band to maximize light capture from common blue light sources and a wide emission band to collect the green signal efficiently. This makes it an essential choice for imaging live-cell viability indicators and stains, such as non-fluorescent substrates that become intensely fluorescent green upon cleavage by cellular esterases. It is also an excellent match for Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP).

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 480/40 nm (transmits light from 460 nm to 500 nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 535/50 nm (transmits light from 510 nm to 560 nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 400-500 nm / Transmits 515-600 nm

Intended for use with common blue-excited, green-emitting fluorophores such as:

  • Live-cell viability indicators (e.g., probes with Ex approx 495 nm, Em approx 515 nm)
  • Fluorescein and its derivatives (e.g., dyes with Ex approx 494 nm, Em approx 521 nm)
