Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

This filter set is highly optimized for fluorophores that are excited by yellow-orange light and emit light in the orange-red spectral region (around 615 nm). The configuration uses narrow bandpass filters for both excitation and emission, providing high spectral specificity and excellent rejection of background from neighboring green and deep-red channels. This makes it an ideal choice for quantitative PCR (qPCR) and multi-color microscopy applications using fluorescent dyes and probes that fluoresce in the 595-635 nm range.

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 570/25 nm (transmits light from 557.5 nm to 582.5 nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 615/40 nm (transmits light from 595 nm to 635 nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 500-580 nm / Transmits 595-700 nm

Intended for use with common yellow-orange-excited, orange-red-emitting fluorophores such as:

  • Orange-red fluorescent probes (e.g., probes with Ex approx 580 nm, Em approx 610 nm)
  • Rhodamine derivatives and similar dyes with excitation peaks near 570 nm
  • Spectrally similar fluorescent reporters used in various biological assays
