Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

This specialized filter set is engineered for fluorophores that are excited by violet light (e.g., the 405 nm laser line) and emit light sharply in the cyan spectral region (around 480 nm). The configuration uses narrow bandpass filters for both excitation and emission, providing high spectral specificity. This design is highly effective for applications requiring exceptional separation between the excitation light and the emitted cyan signal, making it ideal for flow cytometry, quantitative PCR (qPCR), and multi-color microscopy using violet-excitable fluorescent probes.

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 435/20 nm (transmits light from 425 nm to 445 nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 480/30 nm (transmits light from 465 nm to 495 nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 425-445 nm / Transmits 460-600 nm

Intended for use with common violet-excited, cyan-emitting fluorophores such as:

  • Violet-excitable fluorescent probes (e.g., probes with Ex approx 436 nm, Em approx 479 nm)
  • Cyan-emitting organic dyes and spectrally similar probes
  • Fluorescent reporters with emission peaks near 480 nm
