Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • dia25x6mm (mounted, excitation filter)
  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

This highly efficient filter set is optimized for fluorophores that are excited by ultraviolet (UV) light and emit light in the blue spectral region (around 460 nm). The broad excitation band is designed to capture light efficiently from common UV sources, such as mercury arc lamps or 355 nm lasers. The wide blue emission band ensures maximum collection of the fluorescent signal while effectively blocking UV excitation. This makes it an ideal choice for imaging UV-excited blue fluorescent dyes and probes, widely used for nucleic acid staining and immunofluorescence.

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 350/50 nm (transmits light from 325 nm to 375 nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 460/50 nm (transmits light from 435 nm to 485 nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 330-390 nm / Transmits 430-550 nm

Intended for use with common UV-excited, blue-emitting fluorophores such as:

  • Blue-emitting organic dyes and probes (e.g., probes with Ex approx 350 nm, Em approx 440 nm)
  • Nucleic acid counterstains and fluorescent reporters optimized for UV excitation
  • Spectrally similar UV-activated dyes
