Filter Sizing

If you purchased along with filter cube, the filters (Ex, Em, Dic) will be cut to the size can be fitted into the filter cube.

If only the Filters are purchased, it will coming with below sizes by default:

  • 36x25x1,1mm (unmounted, dichroic mirror)
  • dia25x3.5mm (mounted, emission filter)

Filter Cube Installation

If you purchased the Whole set of filters and Filter cube from us. All the filters will be installed inside the cube. You can put into your filter turrent and use it directly.

This specialized filter set is designed for fluorophores that are excited by yellow-green light (around 545 nm) and emit light sharply in the orange spectral region (around 590 nm). The configuration uses narrow bandpass filters for both excitation and emission, providing exceptional spectral isolation. This makes it an ideal choice for high-resolution imaging and multi-color experiments, ensuring minimal cross-talk with adjacent green and red channels when using orange-emitting fluorescent dyes and probes that fluoresce in the 575-605 nm range.

Filter Specifications:

  • Excitation Filter (Ex): Bandpass 545/20 nm (transmits light from 535 nm to 555 nm)
  • Emission Filter (Em): Bandpass 590/30 nm (transmits light from 575 nm to 605 nm)
  • Dichroic Mirror (DM): Reflects 450-550 nm / Transmits 570-700 nm

Intended for use with common yellow-green-excited, orange-emitting fluorophores such as:

  • Orange fluorescent probes and related dyes (e.g., probes with Ex approx 550 nm, Em approx 573 nm)
  • Rhodamine derivatives and similar dyes with excitation peaks near 545 nm
  • Fluorescent reporters with emission peaks around 575 nm to 595 nm
